Domestic Donations

Creat launched a programme of domestic charitable donations during the 1990s, and has since provided donations for flood relief in 1998 and China's nationwide snow disaster fund in early 2008. The Group has also funded programmes to combat AIDS and the SARS outbreak in 2003, as well as funding for the Commonwealth Institution.

International activities

On behalf of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and the United Nations, Creat Group Chairman Zheng Yuewen visited Pakistan in 2005 to take part in the U.N. donation meeting. Between 2006 and 2007, he organized visits to Pakistan by Chinese private enterprises groups to participate in earthquake restoration work.

Creat believes that private enterprises have a responsibility for and must make contribution to the community and society,and that commerce should progress through sustainable, environmentally-friendly approaches to development. This philosophy is reflected in the investments Creat continues to select.
